Allow yourself the freedom to step away from perfection because it is only then that you can find success.

Hello and welcome to my website.
A little about me.
Since I was a child I have loved photographs. Captivated by how they make a person feel. A moment caught in time. My love of horses started with my family. They kept Point to Point and Hunter's so it was in my blood from the start. My father was an amateur racing driver and was great friends with the brilliant Jim Clark (way before my time) but I think I share dad's love of speed except I prefer four legs.
Growing up with a mixture of Grand Nationals, Derby and Grand Prix. I wanted to be a jockey from an early age, mesmerised by the speed of the thoroughbred. Working for a local trainer before I left school and was lucky enough to be accepted into the jockey school in Newmarket but fate stepped in and took me in a different direction towards London and fashion with a bit of modelling thrown in.
I had my family in my late twenties and moved back home to the Scottish Borders. I never lost my passion for horseracing and continued to follow it. The thrill still leaves me breathless with a tummy full of butterflies on a race day. I have been going to my local racecourse since I was a teenager. Talking with the photographers about their cameras ignited an old love of photography so I started taking photos on my phone and realised I still had a good eye. I then bought a camera second-hand and haven't looked back!
I love to design and create. I now live in Northumberland with its beautiful coastline and countryside. It's a photographer's paradise.
I invite you to take a tour of my work and if you're ever at the races come and say hello I'm usually found at the last jump!
